A story lay,
in the ocean bed.

The battered remains of a mysterious shipwreck.

Strokes of love on the deep blue floor,
grew fainter forever more.

Crimson, amber and rainbow splashes,
were washed away and ashore.

On the shores the waves illuminated,
the journey of that vessel ill-fated.

A pair of lovely hands drew on and on,
the sketch of a lovelier pair of eyes beyond,
dusky horizons
and brightened dawns.

When morning arrived,
the hands did stop.
The eyes remained open still.
And black blue water enclosed all spaces within.
